The Cloud 9 Dogwood Tree (Cornus florida 'Cloud Nine') (also knowns as an Eastern Cloud 9 Dogwood) is a upright spreading, deciduous tree that can be grown as a specimen tree or shrub. Cloud 9 blooms in mid-spring with showy, large, white flowers which last for several weeks followed by persistent red berries. The foliage is supple dark green, showing vivid tones of scarlet and crimson in the fall. Thrives in some shade and in full sun if roots are shaded, attracts birds and butterflies. Deer resistant.

Plant in full sun to partial shade, in medium moisture and a well-drained soil, tolerates a wide range of soils. *Prefers morning sun followed by afternoon shade. Prune them shortly after that flowering to avoid cutting off potential blooms.
